I tried to acknowledge a pop up alert on my PC today by touching the screen.
Someone was watching, but I think I got away with it.

Not exactly the same but when I use my work laptop without a mouse I try and use Trackpad gestures, don't tend to work with Windows XP!!

^I've done this with other people's laptops. I can't use it without the two-finger scrolling now, or the two-finger tap to right click. When using normal PCs I hate not having Exposé by squeezing the mouse sides. (Yes, my iMac still has Leopard and a Mighty Mouse, I love the MM, I can't live without Exposé)

Surprising how the touch interface becomes intuitive.
I find Windows laptops rather primitive now.
