Hi, my name is Boz. I have been an Apple fan since 2006, when I needed a powerful laptop, and nothing in the PC line seemed to fit the bill. The MacBook Pro did, though, and I haven't looked back since. My stable includes and old PowerBook G4 at home, my trusty, but battered MBP, and an early 2009-vintage iMac. I have been a devoted listener to British Mac since the start of this year, when I got my iPhone (my first iPod) - keep up the good work!

Hi all
Great fun sitting on the train from Leicester to London in the 'Quiet' carriage listening to the Podcast and laughing along. Lots of Paddington stares but who cares?!
Have a Macbook Pro and an iMac 21'' (old style) would love Santa to deliver me a 27'' new one but not too sure if I have been a good boy all year!
Keep up the good work everyone.
Best wishes
Mark

Hello all, I've just joined the forum. I'm David and I'm new to Mac, having bought a G4 iMac on eBay (£100 bargain!) to use as a music player and for email in my lounge. Garageband also has me dreaming of rock stardom being the multitrack recorder I could never afford when I actually had the time to play music. Love the podcast which I've been listening to for a while.

Hi

Recently discovered your excellent podcast, well done and keep up the good work!

I have been a Mac fan for a couple of years now, I have a 24" iMac, a 13" MacBook and a Mac Mini in the Car. All the family have iPhones there is also an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express. Oh, and I have just realised how much I have spent on all that in the last two years (ouch).

Good evening, well I'm Adam, 19 year old photographer and editor in the cold Midlands. I've owned a Mac since June 09 (after 8 years of being a Windows fan...), owning a MacBook (Early 2009) first (which I still own), and I recently bought a brand new 27" iMac, which is running at full spec! Other Apple things I own are the iPod Touch (2nd gen 16gb), a 1TB Time Capsule, and an AirPort Extreme.

Windows stuff I own, only 1 thing which is my good ol' Asus F5 Entertainment System, running Windows 7 Ultimate.

Welcome to you, are you the same Adam parton that recently asked a question on the MacFormat Podcast?

The reason I ask is that I know an Adam Parton in the West Midlands (Codsall, Wolverhampton) to be precise, and I contacted him thinking it might have been him asking the question, but i'm guessing not.

Hi all,

My name is Stephen. Whilst on honeymoon in September 2007 I happened to pick up a magazine whilst sipping champagne and waiting to be picked up for a trip. Browsing through the magazine I saw an advert titled "10 Reasons To Buy A Mac" and found myself mentally ticking every box. Following a bit of research I bought a white MacBook from Dixons Tax free shop at Heathrow on the way home.

A little over two years down the line I now have a mid 2009 MacBrook Pro, an early 2008 20" iMac, 2 x Mac Mini's, an AppleTV, an Airport Express to add 802.11N to my Sky Broadband setup and am on to my second iPhone, a 32Gb 3GS. I guess I'm kind of hooked!
