^In what context is Gruntfuttocks used? In any situation where your parents were listening and would smack you across the head if you actually swore! Say it next time you want to curse - it feels good and sounds great! Mind you, it sounded so much like swearing we'd get hit anyway… Mum really was no fun sometimes….

I used to know someone who we called Joe Razzmatazz. I don't know what his real surname was. Or even if he was called Joe. That's just the way it was... He was sort of a friend-of-a-friend.

I'm not sure who came up with it originally but when we were kids, my brother and I used to use gruntfuttocks!…and I still do sometime J. Peasemold Gruntfuttock was a character in Round the Horne, played by Kenneth Williams. I am just too young to have listened first time round, but old enough to have confirmed it by a bit of Googling. On an aside, I have always felt that lamppost was a very strange word. I am, though, very fond of mandolin

Embroider a Tapestry? I like Cassock. It sounds a bit dirty. I bet it would have been used extensively if there was a 'Carry On Monk' film.
Speaking of monastery, I like Cathedral.
Witches on the Heath.
