Did nobody see my post about 'Back to the Mac'? I want: -The ability to Right/Cmd Click on items when a stack is fanned out. -The ability to make notes inside the white space of Finder windows (Imagine how useful this could be if done right!) -Ability to have different wallpapers on each desktop of Spaces. -Have the Dashboard load on it's own, rather than me having to open it then having to wait for things to load. -The Death of Ping. That's all I can think of now.... None of these will happen.

my wish list would be a simple request (which I hold out no hope of Apple bothering with)
All I want is a simple ability (ie having something inside the preference pane(s) would seem sensible to me) to be able to adjust and turn off the level of transparency applied to the dock, pull down menus, etc. Being able to choose the colour for said items would be a bonus.

Just been watching the 'Lion' part of the keynote. The new Mission Control feature looks really cool though I'll have to get a trackpad but I wanted to do that anyway No idea how they're going to resolve autosave and TimeMachine but sure they'll have a way. Also, auto-install of apps gives me the security heebie jeebies! We'll have to wait and see - let the speculation begin! (not us - the tech bloggers wanting page views! Steve made a few funnies too ;D

Also, auto-install of apps gives me the security heebie jeebies! The new App store idea seems brilliant to me. It would mean that Apple would do all the checking of the apps before they were offered for installation. They will be "badged" like they are on the iPhone. Thus if we don't want them we don't have them. I just hope that there is a "no thanks" option so that if for any reason you don't want that update you don't have a badge showing all the time on the app.

Just read that in Mac OS X 10.7, users will be able to resize windows from any corner. I know it's a tiny thing but AT LAST!!

I didn't like this idea of the mac-app store. Great if it makes finding new programs easy terrible if soon all you can install is the mac-app store apps.
I dont want to jailbreak my Macbook Pro.

When you copy and paste a large amount of items OSX stops and says 'couldn't complete because 'x' already exists' and you have to begin again. Aaaahhhhh. Be glad to see that fixed!

Having suffered that pain I now always use a terminal window and the "ditto" command when copying many files.it always works. Well up to now it has!

I there's an existing folder with the same name as you're copying across the Mac's stops and says something like 'couldn't complete because x already exists' - this has happened a few times to me, maybe it's system-ish stuff like a iTunes folder?
