Probably have to be overhaul of iTunes and Finder....
I have to think that iTunes is due a big update/change. Each release just seems to shoehorn more and more into the one application and whilst I can see the sense in that from one point of view the whole thing starts to not make sense. It isnt just about Tunes anymore so even the name doesnt really make sense.
Finder is one that is always hoped for a big update but I suspect with the gradual change towards an iOS like front end that this one is looking less likely over time too.
Other than that just the usual making things slicker and quicker will do for me !

I'd like some continued legacy PPC support via Rosetta. Apparently, Rosetta can be installed but your PPC apps won't launch anyway.
So, that's FreeHand dead, unless I maintain a legacy Mac or a miracle happens. I'll also have to consider upgrading Painter...

Which version of Freehand do you have Heather? MXa, the last ever version ever, and currently unloved by Adobe. I still smart at Adobe being allowed to buy their chief competition and let it wither by locking it in the attic, after stealing most of the best ideas (and Flash).

But Freehand MX runs on Intel Macs does it not? Yes, it does. Using Rosetta to emulate the PowerPC environment. FreeHand was never coded as a universal binary so, if Apple drops Rosetta, FreeHand (and all the other PPC only apps) will be the proverbial Norwegian Blue. It's passed on! This program is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! ... Its metabolic processes are now 'istory! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-PROGRAM!!

Oh, so it will stop working then? From the initial reports from those who have the developer release of Lion, yes. Rosetta installs, but PPC apps won't launch at all. There is a faint hope full PPC Rosetta support will be reinstated before the Gold Master, but it is a faint hope.

^Does this affect all HDDs?My 500GB Seagate just mounts the same way a USB Flash drive would although it has a different icon on the desktop. Its yellow with the USB symbol on it rather than just a plain grey drive icon. Edit: Doesn't matter, I had to look up what NAS drives were. I thought that it meant that no External HDs were supported.
