Hi, Thought i would ask for advise.I will be moving my G5 powermac and require a good wifi device, usb dongle maybe? I thought about airport extreme but not sure re price and compatibility. Regards Ken.

I would definitely say dongle. We used to use (my Dad still does) Netgear USB receivers and they worked well enough. I used it on the PC until I got my iMac.

Word of Caution - make sure you get a dongle that is Apple compatible, like a Netgear WG111 (specifically PowerMac) many of the dongles out there ONLY work with Windoze

^Never thought of that, actually. I assumed they would be plug and play, but since all Macs now have wireless built in, making new drivers for OSX seems like a waste of time.
