Don't know if this affects anyone else but I found out on earlier in the week that there may be a problem with my shiny new just over a month old iMac (website here - if anyone wants to know more)
They are offering a free replacement drive to anyone who has one of the affected machines.
(now comes the complainey bit. please feel free to stop reading now) So I phoned Apple and found it is fine if you have a mac store near you or can be without your machine for a week. In order to get this "free" replacement I have a 80 mile round trip to my nearest apple store. Once there I have to park across town from it as my car won't fit in the multi story, carry my iMac to the apple store (there will be stairs involved and everything) and then have it assessed by a genius, if it does need a replacement they will need to send it away (so I guess I have to do the 80 mile trip again to pick it up) if not I can do the return journey with my iMac on the same day.
Its only just over a month old. "Free"? not really is it?.

Will Green: I'm really looking forward to iOS 13, at the moment the iPad hardware is way ahead of the OS. My MacBook Pro was accidentally broken, so when going on business or interviews I take my iPad. The files app seems very clumsy as it is.
