Is there a way to know how many applications there are in the iPhone app. store?

Start counting at one, and keep going forever?

Start counting at one, and keep going forever? I was hoping that there was some kind of counter somewhere.

I haven't been able to find one, but such a thing must exist because when Steve stands up at MWSF in January, he is going to tell us exactly how many there are - and I doubt whether he will have counted them all!

He'll open Finder, navigate to the App Store, do cmd-A and then option-right click the selected applications and Show Inspector. That will tell him how many files there are. Job done

WOW, I was just wondering, there are lots of apps to transfer files (via wifi) to your iPhone, but how do you use your iphone to browse/and transfer your computers files? Is there an app to do that?

Not exactly, what I meant was to be able to see your macs files like in finder, without having to transfer anything on your mac, it dosen't appear that FileMagnet does that
