Anyone upgraded anything yet?
Seems Airprint is limited to 5 HP Printers & I don't have an Apple TV so Airplay doesn't offer much.
I'll wait a few days, I think.

I downloaded both for the iPhone and iPad last night 1.2gb in total. No difference on the iPhone but the multitasking etc on the iPad is good.. One thing though.. I really don't like the fact that the switch on the side is now a mute switch and not the screen lock..

When a video is playing touch the screen and you get the transport controls. The rightmost control give access to your network devices. Same with the audio.

Thanks Mr Cat but no luck. I have tried both video and audio but cannot see access to my Apple Tv (old version). Any other suggestions please. Airplay isnt designed to work with the 1st gen Apple TV. The 2nd gen had to download a software update in order for it to work. It appears that Apple currently have no plans to introduce the feature to the 1st gen, I also have this version and found it almost insulting, that we are expected to pony up another £100. When there is nothing wrong with the one I have. I can't believe that the hardware or software is incapable. I understand that the 1st gen runs on a version of Maxc OS10.4 Tiger. The airplay works great with my airport express for audio.

Thanks sjbuchanon007 that explains it! Audio is not much good to me either, as unfortunately I sold my Airport Express some time ago because I never used it, now I wish I hadn't! It is a pity Airplay doesn't work with the 1st Generation Apple TV. I do use mine quite often, mainly for viewing photos on the big screen TV.

You could always offer Apple some feedback through their website asking for this feature to be added.
