GarageBand for iPad is already released, ahead of the 11th March promise.
It's absolutely stunning. Quite possibly the best £2.99 I've ever spent on an App - ridiculously cheap for such power & polish.
What's more, it seems to run really well on Pad 1. I saw a couple of "Optimising playback" messages but they don't get in the way.
The built-in Help facility is very neat.
Treat yourself, and download it now!
Alan.

Amazing! I could spend hours just playing with the Apple loops. Highly recommended App.

How does one get to run on the Galaxy Tab? I think using a Galaxy Tab as a placemat on which to rest one's iPad is about the closest the Tab will ever get to having software this good running "on" it. Here's a rather long and glowing review of GarageBand for iPad: www.macworld.com/appguide/app.html?id=835978Alan.

Hahaha! Nice find. :-)
How can they have the gall to say "Loop-Based music sequencerMake tracks using loops and samples just like Garageband".

Surely in-app purchasing of new loops is bound to come along. I made my first tune up last night :-)
