I think I've figured this out... The Zodiac sign of Leo is from July 23 - August 22. Traditionally new versions of OSX are released on a Friday. July the 23rd is on a Saturday, but if you go by GMT, 4 o'clock pm on the 22nd will be Friday the 23rd in California Cupertino and the age of Leo will have begun!

You mean we have to wait until 2021?

Good theory. I'm going to challenge you on the time though. I'm thinking that we should say Leo will start at midnight 23rd UTC. We're currently in BST, an hour ahead, as is Pacific time. So whilst you've used the 8 hour time difference, this is against our current BST. So I think Lion should actually be launched at Zulu-8 hours, which will actually be 1700 PDT on 22nd local infinite loop time (0100 BST on 23rd in Greenwich).
