Out of interest I am wondering what the current members of BM forum own? So go on, tell us about your kit. Me? I have a 30Gig iPod Video a nice bit of kit that just seems to keep going and going. The only problems I have had is that it does not always sync when I plug the lead in. I am not sure why. I am considering an iPhone for my next purchase. It kind of depends what is on offer nearer to Christmas.

Currently only have a 4GB Nano2 which runs for at least 6 hours a day was hoping to upgrade to iphone 3g but with the current (as in this morning) o2 farce that is an ordering system and the addition of the PAYG "coming soon" since when is 5 months time soon? after leaking the prices semi-deliberately £299 8GB £360 16GB on PAYG with 6months free data then £10 per month for unlimited data i have no idea what they are playing at and since when is 250,000 phones an adequate first batch to send out I'm starting to dislike o2 more and more every day

My first iPod was a 60Gb ipod photo. I still use it occasionally, but my main one is an 8gig Nano 3g. I use it several hours every day since last september. It's a superb bit of kit. I may at some point get an ipod touch if they drop the price, though the nano would still be my main device. I like the idea of the larger screen for watching videos or films from time to time.
I'm definitely not interested in an iphone

Hi Mr. Cat...
I've got a 60gig iPod video (5g) and a very heavily used 8g 2g nano. I love the size of the nano, and would buy a 3g nano to replace it if they offered 16 gig.
Must confess the touch doesn't interest me, but I'm watching the iPhone 3g with interest... if I can tether it to my macbook for internet on the move then I'll snap one up in December when my current contract ends, but if not it's useless to me.
The absence of tethering and proper bluetooth support on the original iPhone were a bit of a mistake in my opinion...
