Wow, it's quiet around here! Where's all the banter and chatter about the iPhone 5, IOS6, the 'Mapocalypse', OSX 10.8.2 etc etc? Has everybody deserted this place because Will has gone AWOL? (I actually know where he is, but I am not allowed to tell). Is anybody getting the iPhone 5 tomorrow? I am. Please let the battery life be better than the 4S, PLEASE!!!! If you've already updated to IOS6 and have experienced the map disaster, you'll enjoy this link: theamazingios6maps.tumblr.com

It has been quite for a while.
Partly due to Will being quiet and I think partly due to me.
Those that know the reasons will be understanding.
The map thing is interesting. I guess it will take Apple a while to get up to speed. I thought Tom Tom were providing the data. Maybe I had that wrong?

The wife and I are getting the iPhone 5 today. I have formed an orderly queue on the couch in front of the TV while I await the deliveries, on from Apple and one from Three.
I upgraded to iOS 6 on my current phone and have not seen any issues with the maps I looked though.
