The new (Autumn / Winter 2008) Argos catalogue seems to have increased it's range of computer hardware and now includes a small selection of Apple computer products on page 1301.
It looks like they're only available from Argos Extra stores (rather than the smaller Argos stores)
(strange how the spell checker didn't spot my repeated typo of Argos which I've just corrected!)

Is there any advantage in buying from Argos I wonder?

The only advantage I can think of for Mac users is convenience of location - a lot more people live close to Agros Extras (which allow online reservation of goods / stock checking) than Apple Stores.
Some credit cards also allow the purchase of Agros gift vouchers at a discount of about 10% off face value - allowing a £700 MacBook to be purchased in Agros vouchers which only cost £630.
