Oh, I don't know much about MSOffice for mac, I use iWork, what I mean is there are very windows specific terms in syllabus

The only time Apple was ever mentioned in my school was to say that they had been stupid and greedy with the Mac by integrating hardware and software. I presume that this was a personal view of one of the members of staff rather than an authorised part of the syllabus.

Oh, I don't know much about MSOffice for mac, I use iWork, what I mean is there are very windows specific terms in syllabus I can remember always being taught not to use certain windows terms/names, eg how you talk about applications: They said always to say, word processor, spreadsheet, database rather than word, excel, access etc...

Wow, I haven't been visiting BM for a while for no other reason than so busy not been visiting anything Thanks to everyone for their input(s). I still haven't resolved the issue but I have just purchased a new iMac so will probably install a limited windows setup for MS Acess only. Thanks again
