The people seem nice, but they don't seem to visit often. Quick tech question. Is there a link from this forum to the British Mac website? Normally the logo is a clicky but in this case it seems not. CC

Doesn't seem like it, no obvious click back Having recently been promoted to Admin I should now be in a position to fix that. CC

ChurchCat, if you want to make the British Mac logo act as a hyperlink to the main British Mac home page: - when signed into ProBoards as admin, click on Headers and Footers from within the Customize Your Forum section.
- within the -- Select Board -- drop down menu select Global Header / Footer and click the continue button.
- cut and paste the following into the box titled Header:
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- var logo=document.getElementsByTagName("font")[0]; logo.innerHTML='<a href="http://www.britishmac.com" target="_blank">'+logo.innerHTML+'</a>'; document.getElementsByTagName("img")[0].border="0"; // -->
</script>
- click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the window.
Further Javascript can be used to centre the logo &/or move the advertising banner to the top of the page (where it is less intrusive). In addition there are of course all the simpler changes which can be made to alter colours, etc through the ProBoards admin options. Hope this helped, post a request or message me if you need more info

ChurchCat, if you want to make the British Mac logo act as a hyperlink to the main British Mac home page: Yay! There are some dam clever people on this forum. Thanks m4 that was very kind (and very smart) of you. I have made one or two tweaks to the forum already using the global headers and footers but I have not managed to get around to doing the click-back thing yet. That is to say it is done now. ;D The logo is now a clicky. CC
