Hi all,
As you might or might not know I've working on a paid subscription extra edition of BritishMac called BritishMac Gold.
The regular and free edition of BritishMac will be published every other Friday, and the paid BritishMac Gold will be published alternate Fridays.
Here's some blurb from the website;
Why upgrade to Gold Membership?
Over the years I've learn't that BritishMac works best at about 45 minutes running time, and as the podcast has developed I've had to drop some of the sections to keep within the time.
BritishMac Gold will revisit some of the old sections such as St. British Mac, Housewives Choice and The Joy of Mac - plus add room for some new sections.
Please note - the Gold feed will not have the regular BritishMac podcast on it, so don't cancel your existing feed!
To subscribe to BritishMac Gold will cost 99p a month (which works out at US $1.56 - you can of course cancel at anytime), but from today the first month is free if you wish to give it a go.
Also the website site has been changed to reflect the new studio from which the next BritishMac will be produced, the sites a bit thin at the moment but I'll start to add some meat to its bones as the weeks go on!
Cheers,
Will

Subscribed!
Been a listener for about three and a half years now and it's always a must-listen podcast! Recently moved from London to Wellington, NZ so an extra slice of British Mac every other week will be the perfect antidote to home sickness.
Keep up the good work Will, chin chin!
(my first post :-) )

Can't figure how the feed will get into iTunes though. There is a button to add to iTunes on the Manage Subscription page (there is a link to that in the email you would have got after subscribing) Hope this helps. Mark

Hi Ken, they don't make it easy do they! I've had a few emails along similar lines and will do a screen cast for the process. In the meantime I'll prepare an email for instructions and send it tomorrow.

Hi Ken, Haven't got the screencast together yet, but as I understand it the steps are these: Open iTunes In the menu bar click Advanced Choose Subscribe to Podcast Enter the following in the box: britishmac.podbeam.com/premiumcast.phpYou'll be prompted for the user name and password you specified during the setup of the BritishMac+ All done!
