Parental Controls or Firewall would be the first things to check.
Beyond that, are both machines using the same version of Safari?
Are the Safari security preferences the same on both machines?

It's not browser specific... Can access all other sites... Does my Imac have a firewall?

It is under security in your system preferences, however as it is just one site I doubt it is the firewall, are you logging into your iMac using an admin account? If you are then what error messages do you receive? If you are using a normal user account then check the parental controls (this is one of the few places you can restrict specific sites) Simon

Firewall and parental controls are both off and it is the admin account. I am getting the following: Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.uptonmagnets.co.uk. * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. I am also unable to access the hosting companies website (freeparking). Could it be their server doesn't like my mac for some reason.... (sorry, should have mentioned this earlier).

I notice the error message is from Firefox, do you get the same error when you use Safari?

Safari can’t connect to the server. Safari can’t open the page “http://www.uptonmagnets.co.uk/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “www.uptonmagnets.co.uk”.

I just tried to access the website's address very quickly and am also getting error messages.
Have you created the webpages on your iMac using iWeb (or similar programme)? The reason for asking is that there is an outside possibility that your iMac / website authoring application has been set up so that you are actually viewing the pages stored on the computer when you have been able to access on the iMac, but not the MacBook.
ps. I've just tried to access the website again about 10 minutes later and it was available this time!

Yes. I made it in iweb then upload via filezilla after publishing it to my sites folder.... I also publish it to mobileme but i don't know why!!
Could it be that freeparking is a rubbish host?

Can you transfer your domain name to your MobileMe account? It is currently working for me, so I suspect that your guess that "freeparking is a rubbish host?" is about right! Have you tried accessing it from both computers simultaneously?

Can you transfer your domain name to your MobileMe account? I don't know. How would i find out? Others will have far more experience than I do - i've never done it! But Apple have put these instructions up which might help. I think that if you fill in your domain here, Apple should send a message to the registrar applying for it to be transferred. If your existing registrar release it, you'll be OK. But others will probably be far more helpful than me. Tim

Thanks for replies guys. Could it be the at the freeparking servers are locking my mac out for some reason? It seems strange that I can't access either of them (either www.uptonmagnets.co.uk or http://www.freeparking.co.uk)
