Anybody remember Magnus Pyke?
Chap on Springwatch tonight was getting on my t!ts by waving his arms all the time. He needed to go all out for it and make a feature of it or just cut it out. Grumpy? Me? With my reputation?

I only made a Facebook account to talk to ISV, the organisation I'm going to Australia with. Each time I log in I feel like I lose a bit more intelligence. It's a breeding ground for stupidity. It's also the stalker's paradise. I am ashamed to admit that I have lurked on some profiles, particular girls I like but I'm not seedy enough to add them as a friend. My friends list has three people in it, one of which is ISV. The other two are my housemates. So here's the predicament: Do I add everyone I know and then add the people I fancy? or Leave my profile and friends list as-is and lurk like a pervert at the school gates? Adding people on Facebook just seems like a really seedy thing to do, even if I know them well. I've avoided Facebook since it began for this reason, my account is only a few weeks old. I signed up with an @live.co.uk address that I made specifically for Facebook because I don't want them contacting me/storing/spreading my proper GMail account information. I don't trust them at all.

I have a sudden urge to dig out my PS1 and play Metal Gear Solid again. I love that game. I think I'll appreciate the story more as well now that I'm older. If I still had a Wii I would buy Twin Snakes for it and a controller. The reasoning for this sudden nostalgia is for an unknown reason I thought of the scene on MGS1 where you kill Sniper Wolf, and Otacon says: "Do you think love can bloom, even on the battlefield?". And this music plays: As I remember, it's actually pretty powerful.

I used to LOVE this music vid. Anyone else remember it? Oh Yes! 1987. My first job and they played this on the video jukebox in the pub next to the office. It was VERY popular ;D

Why is it that in your car the indicators on the dashboard light up green when on the outside they are orange? Is it only me that is irritated by this? Should I seek help?

You are and you should.
Why am I always the slowest vehicle on the motorway? I'm driving at an indicated 60-ish, yet everything is passing me at enormous speed.
(Okay, so the bigger trucks aren't actually passing me, but you get my point.)

I'm all over this song this week. Seriously, I bought the Skid Row album six days ago and from the amount of times I've listened to it you'd think it was still 1989. The iTunes play count is slightly embarrassing.

Very impressive.
This is poor quality but I think you (at least) will appreciate it!
I do like the more showy stuff but the thing I really love is when there is nothing scripted, the partners may have never danced together before but there's that connection there and it just clicks and you can see it. (this will sound like complete and utter gobbeldegook to anyone who has never danced Argentine tango socially!!)

That vid was really great. I have practiced my ochos down the supermarket isle on more than one occasion.
You are right about people not understanding. Still what is a cat to do?
