I have noticed that we are all busy doing other stuff. Not a lot happening posting wise. I try to look in each day but even I have a bit of a life outside of the cat basket that intrudes at this time of year. So if I don't get to see you before. Have a great Christmas guys. M. le Chat

I demand that you spread some Christmas joy I refuse. It's the very act of forcing people to enjoy Christmas, with all its tawdry fakery and bling, that drives people to hate it so. I detest being forced to sit through endless adverts for stupidly named "fragrances", people overeating, "Christmas specials" where someone just throws a decorated tree into the set, and all the endless hand-wringing about needing to spend, spend, spend. I want to be left alone to do what I want at this time of the year, without "all the trimmings", which have become ever more meaningless yet shinier over the years. Christmas is a time for the children. Let them enjoy it. Let those of us who are not children, and who don't have children, just get on with our lives without the three month build-up, awful pop music and belt-straining food. Thank you. PS Merry Christmas!

May I second HeatherKay's statement above. The BEST thing about Christmas was seeing my kids faces (when they where small) when Santa had been Christmas this year started in October, for GAWD sake, when our Tesco store replaced their Halloween stuff with Christmas wrapping paper/cards and chocolate oranges! However as it is now Christmas Eve, I think it is the right time to wish you all the best for the festive season. ;D

Merry Christmas one and all!
The adverts are nearly over. The hype is all but done. …and if I were a poet I could get tow other lines to scan….. ;D
Quote from Jethro the other day when asked about Christmas "It's for the kids… and we get the bonus of a new jumper!"

The first Christmas song I heard this year was in late September, at a bus station.
September.
