Ok. To start us off I like ballroom dancing. I have a gold medal in it and I have been doing it for about ten years now on and off. I don't have a sequinned shirt yet but these paws can dance a mean quickstep.

Love this topic! I've got to meet so many amazing people via this podcast and I'm always amazed when we meet for a pint and I ask 'what do love doing' and I get 'I collect tractors' or 'traveling across Arabia in my Land Rover' or 'I'm a the knight of an eccentric Australian king' or 'I'm a gold medal ballroom dancer' (All those examples a true, I never knew that Mr C!).
Personally I haven't got anything much to add to this topic other than this podcast is my job and I'm an Apple trainer - and one secret I've never really shared is I'm Buddhist!

Well now, let me see. I "work" as a graphic designer/artworker. When I'm not trying to earn a crust doing that I enjoy: - photography
- drawing and painting
- listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks
- reading sci-fi and fantasy novels
- build scale models of all kinds but more especially model railways in a couple of scales.
When I am bored of any of those, I will happily lose myself in a movie or two. I've loved history of all kinds since I was knee-high to the proverbial, but my pre-eminent historical passion is the Battle of Britain (1940), so I am dead keen on researching that. I wonder how some people can complain of being bored, or are happy to spend their spare time slumped in front of the telly. I have to be doing something creative or interesting most of my waking life, or I'd shrivel up and die.

Got any video of the action?! No I don't think I have been caught on camera. Gold is not really that advanced anyway in some ways it is a bit like passing your driving test. Good fun though.

and one secret I've never really shared is I'm Buddhist! Interestingly I taught Buddhism at the local comp for a term a few years ago.

Well... I call myself a music obsessor. I collect CDs quickly, and never, ever download. It's all about the meticulous quality of sound. I have a surround sound system and CD player that I love, although the surround sound isn't the best. I play the guitar, electric. I am taking lessons and love it. I have been playing almost 2 years and if I could afford to I would buy unholy amounts of guitar stuff. I am doing biomedical science at uni, in my first year. Not sure what jobs will become of it, but really enjoy science, mainly biology, so I think it's a good starting point. I may add more when I think of it.

I like to take photographs of stuff people don't usually see, even though it's there. The super-macro mode on my camera is used all the time. My favourite artist is Buckethead. He is an incredible guitarist and the world he has created for himself is astonishing. The very fact that he has released 30 solo albums and counting, played in Guns N Roses and has collaborated on hundreds more albums and still kept his identity a secret is admirable. He's a bit of a hero and inspiration to me, as weird as that is.
