Yay! welcome to the forum I am not a great fan of the whole download thing. I much prefer to buy the CD and and rip from the same. That way I get to enjoy all the cover notes and artwork. Sometimes there are freebies that come with the disc too. CDs can be bought very cheaply and are of course DRM free. I do take the odd track from iTunes if I am in a hurry and at 79p per track it is neither here or there really. The convenience of having it all in one place more than makes up for the few pence that I may save from shopping around. Cat

Depends on the music your into I suppose. I get a lot of stuff from Archive.org and some netlabels such as thinner.cc. If you are not a fan of chart music and are prepared to try something new you can find a lot of good stuff out there that you would otherwise never hear. For fans of Electronica there is little reason to buy music, there is so much free stuff available ( admittedly you have to filter good from not so good, but this is part of the fun.... )
