Hi, I remember hearing about an app that uses one password in place of all your passwords. I cant seem to find the podcast that i heard it in, i have saved many as i often hear of a useful app or widget but as i am listening at work i often forget later. Cheers Ken.

I suspect that this is the application that you are thinking of. It has had a lot of podcast discussion in recent weeks. 1PasswordCat

It probably isn't what you were referring to, but the password manager I personally use is KeePass / KeePassX. The various versions are all open source and use the same encrypted database structure for storing passwords. This means the secure password database (which is protected by a master password) can be opened on a variety of different devices. Between them the different versions of KeePass work on most desktop platforms + also a selection of portable platforms. KeePassX is for Mac OSX and Linux www.keepassx.orgiKeePass is still a work in progress, but should work on the iPhone ikeepass.deKeePass is for Windows keepass.info/index.htmla list of versions for other platforms can be found on the KeePass download page keepass.info/download.html
