I've recently switched from XP to Mac. I have a new Imac Intel. I also have a Sony Erricson V630i I used to Sync via the USB cable that came with the device.(When I was on Windows) I now use bluetooth syncing via isync. Originally, when I tried to connect the device it didn't have the right drivers, so I payed a couple of quid for some Feisar drivers for it. These have been working fine, but recently I realised that the calendar sync check box was unchecked. When I tried to check it, it came up with the error "No Writable Calendar was found" I googled this and I tried two fixes, resetting my sync history, and deleting and resetting up my calendars, and removing any subscription calendars, because this can cause the problem sometimes, but all my calendars are subscription calendars from my Gmail account, which is very annoying. The strange thing is that Itunes works fine syncing to my 2nd gen ipod nano. No error at all. The people who suggested the fixes I tried, also had problems with Itunes The problem still occurs with my phone Any Help Please!

Welcome to the forum lexy0202. Your problem is very specific and I suspect that the small group of folk that visit here may not have an answer for you. (I hope I am wrong) Have you asked in the obvious place? www.feisar.com/forum/index.cgi Cat

A few years ago - when I was using a Nokia 6600 - I used to have periodic problems iSyncing it my Mac similar(ish) to the sort of problems you've described.
In addition to resetting sync history, I think I usually used to sort this out was by wiping the phone's calender and address books (the only way this could be done on the phone I had was was a hard reset). The problems I used to get seemed to be caused by data on the phone which had either become corrupted, or was in a format which the phone liked, but OSX didn't..... However the phone died (due to problems with it's memory) before I ever found a conclusive cause or cure.
When you say that syncing to your iP9od works ok are you successfully syncing calendar / address data to the iPod, or just music?

Thanks for the advice
Yes, I was syncing everything with my Ipod (calendars and contacts), I have tried your fix... still got the same error with the calendar... I eventually gave up on Google Calendar and used iCal Strangely enough, this worked just fine!
Thanks again, Alex
