has anyone got copies of any of the 'lost episodes' of British Mac floating around on their hard drives or amongst their computer backups?
British Mac episodes 33 and 44 are missing from the archives.
British Mac episodes 62 to 72 are no longer available from iTunes and haven't been added to the archives.
If anyone has copies of any of these episodes can they please post a reply on this thread, or send me a personal message through the forum.
many thanks, Darryl

Why do you need them?

the short(ish) answer to why I want copies of those episodes is:
I'm compiling several lists of what has been featured in a variety of regular sections of the podcasts. (although Will puts show notes online, these notes are written before the podcast to act as a prompt and therefore don't always match what is actually recorded).
I thought I had the 'missing' episodes archived on an old back up disk but haven't.

Thanks to anderson24, a few others and some trawling around the net there are now only episode 33 (BRITISHMAC033), episode 44 and episode 063 (BRITISHMAC063) from my orginal list that I haven't been able to locate a copy of. Based on details from a few podcast directories it would appear that episode 44 never actually existed and was actually made as a four part Easter special (BRITISHMAC EASTER1, BRITISHMAC EASTER2, BRITISHMAC EASTER3 and BRITISHMAC EASTER4).
That makes it 3 podcasts still needed, but probably 6 actual audio files.
As before any help would be very much appreciated.

Have you asked Will to send out the request via the podcast?

I'm hoping Will'll send out a request for help locating the missing episodes in one of the next few podcasts.
If worst comes to worst, I've provisionally set some time aside just before the end of this month to run some data recovery software on a few old drives which I used to have in a MythTV media server (and may well still contain deleted, but recoverable copies of the podcasts). However I'm a lazy bugger and if I can avoid the agro because someone still has the episodes tucked away which I can have a copy of I'd much rather that option!!!
