Not quite technical support but you might like his one. I started my career in 1983 as a 'Systems Specialist' at Xerox, selling their workstations and networks based on Viewpoint software which the Steves plagiarised so well (historic accuracy aside).
I had to get copier salespeople up to speed on technology when PCs weren't that available as yet. The following happened several times: I'd introduce them to the mouse and show them how it moved the cursor/pointer on the screen and would drag a document on to a printer icon for it to print. I'd then ask them to use the mouse to move the same document on to the printer icon again and (I swear this is true) they would pick up the mouse, and put it ON THE SCREEN! in an attempt to move the document!

I do recall becoming involved as an Expert Witness in a law suit, where the complaint was that "the computer" didn't work following a service. In fact, the maintenance guy had deleted the printer driver. Everything else worked.
