So, CoPilot or TomTom?
I should really have a GPS application on my iPhone but which one to pick?
Anyone know?

Strictly speaking, the Apps to which you refer Are called SatNav Apps, or turn-by-turn navigation Apps.
"GPS Apps" is a much broader term covering a. Wide range of location-aware Apps.
I own a TomTom SatNav and I bought the CoPilot iPhone App thinking that I might not get used to it. But I quickly did get used to it and in some ways it seems better than TomTom.
At £26.90 it is a real bargain.

I have a TomTom Go 720 - like the software, but the hardware is poor. But the price of the TomTom app is ridiculous - especially as the reviews seem to say it only really works with the GPS booster built into the car mount. Total price works out more than a stand alone SatNav. For £26.90 I'd give CoPilot a go
