Apple have released a massive system update - over 700Mb.
I'm going to wait a few hours - I haven't had a chance to plug my MBP in for a Time Machine backup.
Anyone upgraded yet? Any problems?

If I bough SL now would I have to download all the main updates from 10.6.0? On Windows i did, and on my sucky connection it took about 14 hours... But then again, it was Windows. ;D

Just done the wife's laptop, again no probs so far. Just be aware that the screen goes black for about 2 mins (scary at first) then reverts to the normal screen.

But then again, it was Windows. ;D There are two installers - a Delta and a Combo. The Delta just incluses the 10.6.3 upgrade, but the Combo includes all the upgrades from 10.6 onwards - so no, one download would do it. But lots of your apps will need upgrading to work with SL.

I've just had a slight scare.
I left my iPhone in the dock during the installation (there were 3 updates; OS update, iTunes and something else, I forgot - surely there's a installation history buried somewhere) and when I came to use the phone it was completely dead, and wouldn't power on.
I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but very odd. I had to perform a reset by holding down both the power and the home buttons for several seconds.
Interesting that after the 9.1 iTunes update several additional files were sync'd to both the iPhone and the AppleTV - not sure why, but perhaps the selection criteria had changed or something (or maybe 9.1 treats iTunes U media differently now - I'll have to investigate further).

Machine no1 (My MBP) safely updated. Haven't found any issues yet and in general the machine feels a bit snappier than before - of course, that could just be the effects of a restart. I usually wait a few days before updating my wife & daughters' machines just in case.
