Excellent - multitasking is on the way then, and some other good features too. Corresponding iPad upgrade to come in the fall.

I am not sure why I would want multi-tasking. Folders would be nice though.

Watching Twitter last night after the keynote had finished, I was amazed at how many people were bemoaning about iAd.
I think it can only be a good thing, Ads are out there now, it will be nothing new, there are many free apps that are ad supported. The magic trick here is that you don't have to click on them.
My rule is to try the free app if available and if the app works for me, I will always support the developer directly by paying for the full version.
iAd looks great though. If something does interest you, you can click on the ad without fear of losing where you were in your current app.
I am also sure that there are many people who have clicked on ads in error, only to be whisked out of the app they were using.
The standard of ads can only improve using Apple's demo as a benchmark.

I am not sure why I would want multi-tasking. In case you are playing a very important game and hen you realise you desperately need to check your emails, you won't have to lose your place in the game.

Seriously, when I have it I may well be glad of it, at the moment I am not sure what use I will make of it. If I subscribed to Spotify then perhaps I would be glad of it but the iPhone already multi-tasks enough for my needs.

Biggest thing for me (so far - watching keynote now) is the unified inbox - I've wanted that for ages - BB

Love the HTML5 comment when demoing the ToyStory ad ;o)

I just thought: Should the ' iPod, iTunes, iPhone and stuff' section now include the word 'iPad' in it somewhere?
