Thanks for the tip. I've just downloaded it. Just curious as I already have CoPilot.

£1.49 for speed cameras? TomTom charge £20 for that! I've only downloaded the free version at the moment, but if it works OK, I'll certainly pay up. It is working on my 3G - but inevitably, it seems a bit slow. I haven't driven anywhere yet - but I've just planned a route to my mother-in-law's house - it works, but it is a very strange route. The M60 is only about a mile up the road from my house, but Skobbler wants me to do a five mile loop to get there. But that is the joy of Wikis they're only as good as you make them!

Unfortunately, after a trip from Manchester to Sheffield - a journey I make at least once a month - I've concluded this app is unusable in its present form. It tried to send me over 40 miles out of my way, then, when I went the correct way, it crashed, forcing me to re-start the app while driving. It then insisted that I do a U-turn again, before freezing and simply refusing to give me any instructions at all. Then it crashed again, before finally simply giving up the ghost and telling me that it was unable to download any information. Sadly, I've lost all confidence in the app and will be uninstalling it asap.

Sadly, I've lost all confidence in the app and will be uninstalling it asap. Me too. I tried it and it insisted on taking me up a series of side roads when there was a clear direct route on a main road. I have CoPilot and it works O.K. not as good as my regular TomTom which is old but gives much more timely instructions.
