This is not good! I received a 'you know about computers' phone call from some friends who use a PC running Vista. They wanted to know why their computer had locked all of their Word documents (including the kids homework) and was displaying a message asking them to send money to have their files unlocked. After asking a few further questions it turns out that they had 'clicked through' an installation request from Vista because they had got so used to getting these messages whenever they try to do anything on their PC. It also turns out that any files created via an MS application had been encrypted by this virus - they wanted to know whether they should pay up! There was nothing I could do but advise them to contact their anti-virus supplier's helpdesk. With kids now doing all of their homework on computers the old excuse of the 'dog ate it' has now been replaced with 'a virus encrypted it'.

I have all of a sudden started getting texts on my phone like 'Are you in debt?', 'Remember that accident you had?' and a few other scam-type things. This has only started since moving to O2... Does anyone else get these messages?I've had one a day for the last week or so. Obviously I don't want to text 'STOP' back to them like it says in the message but can O2 get rid of them?

I have had a few such. Not so many as I need to complain to O2 yet. Let me know how you get on if you do complain.

I just bought Curtain Call by Eminem. It's a best-of compilation.
I'm still not entirely sure why I bought it... I felt like a change and it was only 79p on Amazon.
Eminem is alright for the most part I think. Probably best that I got a best-of and not just a regular album. I prefer Wu-Tang Clan.

My biscuit just fell off into my tea. I thought that was only a problem in the 90s... It hasn't happened for so long and now I feel like I've been defeated. Biscuit-dipping is certainly a delicate art. Too little time and it's not soft enough, but too long has disastrous consequences. Sometimes the dividing line between the two is a matter of milliseconds.

Since this post I have listened to Curtain Call in it's entirety about 20 times. Surprisingly amazing. I think I might have to buy the whole discography soon if this obsession keeps up. He certainly has a way with words, not like 'crap-rap' which is all about guns and bling.

I don't think two completely different music genres have ever sounded better together. I hate that Beiber kid.

Today I played guitar for a longer amount of time than I have for ages. Probably close to four hours, non-stop. My fingers are killing me, I can barely type with my left hand.
"I got my first real six-string, Bought it at the Five-and-Dime, Played it 'til my fingers bled, Was the Summer of '69."
