I have selected a large chunk of text in Safari and then copied and pasted into a Pages document. The problem is that it has arrived as a free floating text block. The hyperlinks are still active and there are some images in there too. What I want is to keep the text and lose the rest. I want to use the text as a basis for a piece of work I am working on. How do I convert this "clever" text to "stupid" text?

Mr Cat,
Have you tried using Option-Shift-Command-V rather than straight paste?

Mr Cat, Have you tried using Option-Shift-Command-V rather than straight paste? Simon Hey, that works nicely. Still it would be nice to be able to change the formatting after the paste too. Thanks for that Simon.
