With the diversity and churn in the Android handset space, it's probably more like 60 devices per application. ;-) Alan.

The Android Market is pretty bad. There are very few good apps, and there seems to be no quality control system in place like at Apple. 80% of them are paid as well, and I bet most of them ones still suck.

Wow, that is surprising. Where are these free apps? Maybe the 'free' percentage is so high because it is often where the same app is posted 3 or 4 times by different users calling it their own. But, like I said, there is no quality control or poop-filter so the majority of apps do suck.

Nah, I think tomorrow. It's only on 9.92.
Also, I don't think it's accurate... I know there are a lot of iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch users, but I think the number wouldn't be going like that.

^I have only downloaded 6 apps to my phone. Two of them are Angry Birds. The other four make the phone do things I would expect it to do anyway.
