I am looking for an easy (preferably free!) way of printing a few business cards (DECAdry GAB3322), I have tried to use Pages but struggle to copy entries to each card space. Business card Composer seems to do the job but I begrudge paying £20.99 for software that does far far more than I need for a simple job. It all seems unduly complicated to me. I hope one of the geniuses here can suggest an easy way.
Thanks!

I don't find this an easy one. I am not a big fan of inkjet printed cards because they do tend to run when damp. Laser printers will generally only take very light card. Light card makes for very poor business cards. Any graphics package will work if you are prepared to tinker. I have in the past used both Freehand and Appleworks to this end. These days though I just get the local shop to print me a few off. I give them the artwork and the text, they tidy it up and print off as few as I like. The card is good and thick and the ink does not run.

I am now inclined to agree that it would have been easier (definitely!) and probably cheaper to have used one of the print services suggested. Unfortunately I am stuck with an £8 impulse buy pack of cards from the local Sussex Stationers closing down sale, and it seems a shame to waste them.

Are those the perforated things that you inkjet print onto? I tried them but never really got on with them (I just think inkjet is an unsatisfactory and expensive way to print) If so just make a template in your graphics package of choice. There may even be templates available from the website associated with the product. M. le Chat

I found one template for you here ClickyIt will work easily with a copy of Word (Or free open equivalent). Or (with a bit of messing) with Pages. You may well find others. It depends on the graphics package you choose M. le Chat

I have now spent hours tinkering and wasted several sheets of Decadry. Net result I can print a perfectly aligned sheet of labels on normal 80gm paper but my HP printer doesn't seem to like the heavy Decadry card and all of the entries are about 1cm lower than they should! More tinkering!! No, I think I shall take Alex' excellent advice and buy some cards from Vistaprint.
But thanks anyway chaps.

There is a reason that those cards have not caught on. The only way I could get thick card to work in my printer was to have the tray empty all bar one sheet of card then gently "help" the card in when the printer calls for it. All part of the learning curve.
