I have been seeing a lot about the above app on twitter recently. A lot of my followees have downloaded this app and are really raving about it. The link to their website is www.onavo.com/They claim to be able to reduce your mobile data usage. I have downloaded this and am trying it out at the moment, I will report back later, with details of how much data the app claims to have saved me. You do need to install a profile to your iphone in order for this to work. Anyone else trying it?

Yes, I downloaded it the other day. Just activiated it tonight. I see that the profile has changed the APN. Hope it doesn't break my data/email.

Looking good so far, if the stats can be believed. About 35% overall at the moment.

I have saved about 40%
the only problem I have come across so far is that my personal hotspot has been disabled due to this app, I do know they are working on this issue, but a simple case of disabling the app soon puts it right

Thanks for the tip - I hadn't noticed that. The best savings I'm getting are with the map app - 70-80% Probably well worth while as I have been spending a lot of time abroad recently.

Theyve just announced $3m of investment by Sequoia capital. That's 6 times more than they put into Facebook. I think it's gonna be big.
