Hi,
I have an idea for an app that ideally I would like to learn how to build myself.
I have seen services on the web called appOmator where you design the app your self and submit it to them to build and market etc but that obviously comes at a price.
I wondered if there was a user group or someone in the Buckinghamshire (High Wycombe) area that would be willing to point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Gavin

Hi Gavin, I bought an iPhone development book as I'd love to get into it properly but the learning curve is really steep. Have a look at www.redfoundry.com - the service price ranges from free to $500 a month (!) and allows you to build your app in your web browser using mainly drag and drop. Let us know how you get on.

I do iPhone Dev... about to release my first app! - The drag-and-drop thing you mentioned sounds interesting, but how does it work. Do you write simplified code, or after designing the GUI do you write specifications and then someone codes it for you?
