Now here's a cool way of hiding confidential data, for instance when sending via an unencrypted email. PicSecret encodes text into an image making it invisible to anybody without the proper decoding software. Somebody who sees the image can't tell that there's something hidden inside. PicSecret is available as a standalone application for OSX but also as a web service which is great for cross-plattform use. www.picsecret.com/

I use a program called Exces (http://www.excesapp.com/). It has super-spy level of encryption and costs $14.95
