Today I and bigalessex listened to BM77 in the car on the way to work and as the show ended I noticed something which I considered to be slightly strange. British Mac is a wireless show. It's not television, so why do we have the National Anthem and the dot at the end? Being wireless, surely it should be something like Sailing By or the UK Theme at the close? I think both of those would suit the show ending better. Apart from which, I usually listen to British Mac in the car and it's really awkward to stand up while I'm driving as the National Anthem plays

making sense is just not on the agenda you must be forgetting that its the eccentricity that makes British Mac just like Britain itself...... GREAT

If you treat it as a wireless show you could not have Will macking the wake up whistle at the end!
