I used to use coverflow, thought it was cool, then got bored with it.

This is a bit of a U turn, but I installed it to have a look.
I hate the cover-flow but i do like the Top Sites function. My only gripes with it is that sometimes (quite often) when i close a tab it does close it minimizes the window and there is no way (at least from what I can see) to find out where a link will take you, in FF there is a bar in the bottom where when you hover the cursor over a link it shows the url that it will open.

I don't quite get your sentence, but do you mean the Status Bar?

the hovering thing that PG2114 showed doesnt work for me. That's strange. Does it work for other people or am I the "Special" one again? Peter.

I hope Safari 4 works with remembering me on facebook, often I'd go back and find I'd be "logged out" in safari 3, but when I switcched to FF the problem went away, grrrrr...

Here's a "they've not fixed it yet" tip I installed S4 Beta asap! 1st impressions were good But, there are issues.... in strange unexpected places Consider I do nearly all emailing from iPhone, I didn't notice that S4 Beta install broke mail.app, well almost. It took my 10yr old daughter to find there was a problem - mail.app just keeps crashing as it gets new mail. Reading the error reporting details did mention webkit, but the rest of it wasn't that much help to me - still a noob when it comes to knowing much about what goes on under the hood of OSX Anyway, after a good trawl of many forums, I found the answer. Somehow, S4 Beta has broke Growl notifications in mail.app Totally bewildered as to why, but only way to stop mail.app crashing now is turn off Growl notifications in mail's preferences. Funny thing is, it wasn't easy to get to mail's prefs before it crashed again, so my daughter used her ipod touch to achieve inbox zero, then we could get to prefs... ah, my precious little girl geek I logged on as me, had the same problem, but no chance of me getting to inbox zero..... just had to be really quick with command comma ;D I proved the same thing happened on my MBP as well as G5 iMac Growl notifications of other instances still seem to work Also, Saft still not working with S4 Beta and to be honest, I miss inquisitor the most....I'm sure that used to get updated quicker before it was taken over by Yahoo! But, I guess that's the fun of beta testing
