Still access Music whilst using mail or apps by pressing the home button twice quickly - it brings up a mini controller so you skip tracks, adjust the volume etc. Was I one of the few people who didn't know you could do that?

I used to dream of owning an iPod Touch, the most our family could afford was a wind up gramophone with a scratched 78 of Gracie Fields. You were lucky

You used to dream? Did your dreams come true or did you give up on such a wild and clearly unachievable dream If your dreams did come true maybe you could treat yourself to an iPod Gramophone, plus Gracie's in the iTunes store - would be just like the old days

That iPod gramophone is well wicked. I would want the horn in brass though.

My iPhone should do this, and it does, some of the time. Most of the time it just brings up what I set the double home click to do (phone favorites) there is no way of disabling this setting just changing it, I have also tried it with that set to open the music app thing, which didnt change anything. Are there different clicks for different things?

Here's another one, noticed my iPod screen flash and then realised it had somehow taken a screenshot. Couldn't work out how so did a bit of research....
To capture your screen hold the home button down and then press the sleep/wake button, the pic gets saved to your photos folder.
Don't hold both buttons down for 10 seconds though, that will reset it.

I used to take a partial screenshot on my laptop, copy to a folder in iPhoto, then synchronise. Doing it your way is quicker and much, much less hassle. By the way, if you're listening to music with the iPod Touch turned off, double clicking the home button brings up the controls temporarily, but I suppose you knew that already.

If you slide the home screen halfway across... with your finger still pressed down, and take a screenshot... then let go without sliding your finger either way... the home screen freezes halfway across!

Why is Paranoidandroid's avatar appear to be more than 65x65 pixels?
I want a bigger avatar.
