Getting too technical for me now! All sounds good - especially if Snow Leopard is only £29 ($29 in States)
cheers all - BB

Very awesome in my opinion. The iPhone 3GS, hopefully O2 will offer me an upgrade and man that 13" macbook pro, oh man that thing is sexy. Small size but with the 2.5GHz processor that has the edge over my iMac, you can stick 8GB of ram in that baby, that would be the most awesome thing ever. Forget putting an SSD in my current macbook, i think ill start saving!

Just came back to it - yep, start saving for the MacBook Pro and will wait for someone else to download 3.0 before I try it ;o) too busy this week to risk not having the phone working!
Looking forward to listening to all the Mac podcasts ;o) Finally! Some real news!

I have drunk the Kool-Aid
Having watched the Keynote I am well impressed. Despite the two failed demo's I am well up for my first iPhone. I wonder what a 32Gig 3GS will cost me?

29$ for an upgrade to Snow Leopard, WOW ;D Not complaining about the price at all, but can't help thinking there might be another reason in there why apple is sooo keen for all of us to upgrade...? They could have dropped the price a little - that point they usually do where its not cheap but at the high end of normal, but this is under half price... Who's gonna refuse an upgrade at this price...

The 64bit thing confuses me, as far as I knew the proccessor in most macs (macbooks and imac) are i386 architecture and when I tried to use 64bit windows for bootcamp it didnt like it, and when i tried 64bit linux ubuntu it didnt work either (that is dual booting with refit). So I'm wondering what magic is Apple using to make it work.

Holy spondooliks Batman! That's an immense amount of money to throw at a phone! Okay, so it's a bit more than just a phone, but still five hungered squids on a shiny bauble! Man, I need to sit down. I've spent about £200 on my PAYG thingy in total over the past five years or so.
