Im looking for a visualizer for iTunes that is an equalizer (I think thats what its called). Sort of like the one that you can display in the pale green box at the top of the itunes window. I haven't had any luck finding one, maybe because I have the wrong name for it.

The "Visualizer" is what you get when you type Command + T whilst music is playing in iTunes. Is this what you want? If not what is it you want to be able to do?

Well I know there are pluggins for additional Visualizers, I was wondering if there is a plugin for iTunes that does the EQ thing with the bars that go up and down with the volume. I know there is the small one, but Id like to be able to put something like that in full screen.

Sorry, I have never used an iTunes Plugin. There do seem to be quite a lot out there. As always Google is your friend.

Yes it would turn out that Google is most defiantly my friend. I searched for plugins and found a nice site clicky and I found a snazzy plugin, not exactly what I wanted but very very cool none the less. It is called SpectroGraph and is freeware (damn I love freeware) and here is a link to it clicky. I am happy now. This also gives me more respect for musicians (ACDC currently, in the song Thunderstruck) because it shows that they keep time nigh on perfectly, something which I seem to be appalling at. Edited to remove awesome.

I know, I use it far far too much but its sort of a habit now. Darn you American podcasts *shakes fist*.

I know, I use it far far too much but its sort of a habit now. Darn you American podcasts *shakes fist*. I know I listen to a bunch of them a ton of times and they are all awesome. One thing I like about Steve Jobs is he does not need superlatives to make his point. He will say such things as "This is really nice. We think you will enjoy it." How many other Americans are capable of saying that? Most others would use far more colourful language.

Yes, Steve is a very good speaker.
I shall make my goal be to only use superlatives when absoloutely necessary. This means that I can continue to use the word snazzy, I really like that, it just rolls of the tongue.

I never thought that using a visualiser would appeal to me but when I was in a hotel last week I put some tunes on and stuck the iTunes visualiser on and I was suitably impressed. It works very well.

I love visualizers. I put my music on shuffle, start the visualizer and go about my day with it on in the background.
