Ooh, that's nice. If you don't mind, I've downloaded it and I'm going to use it as a split desktop across both my screens. I'm honoured. ;D It was taken in a place called Threlkeld near to Keswick in the Lake District. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=threlkeld&sll=56.601838,-9.099426&sspn=1.097637,3.57605&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Threlkeld,+Keswick,+Cumbria,+United+Kingdom&ll=54.616816,-3.052225&spn=0.00902,0.027938&t=h&z=16 You can actually see where the three pictures have been stuck together, though...

You can actually see where the three pictures have been stuck together, though... That doesn't matter. It's mostly covered with various applications and associated windows and stuff. Mmm. Lake District. Must try and get back there soon. It's been too long.

I'm sure we've reminisced about Zenits here before. My Zenit EM was the first camera I ever bought with my own money. Before that I had an Agfa Solinaire which I inherited from my grandfather via my dad! It's my daughter's 17th birthday today and we've just bought her her third camera - a Canon EOS 500d - but a friend is giving her a clunky old Centon film SLR. Nothing special, but she's just started her photography A-level and is loving playing around with film and spending time in a darkroom!

This was taken on an iPhone 3G, trying out Darkroom Premium (59pence), with its anti-shake feature set at Medium. I tried High but couldn't keep it still enough for a shot to be taken. In the end, I was quite pleased with the clarity compared to normal. My Skitch upload wouldn't work so here's a link to the pic on mobileMe idisk.me.com/gregor.findlay/Public/Pictures/Skitch/iPhoto-20091230-223413.jpgI'm going to go back to this wall and see if I can find a set of stones that look even more like islands in a concrete ssea!
