"in fact, Will suggested 8pm meet-up...... but does anyone fancy trying one of the local restaurants for an early evening nosh up, say sixish - best not to try some of Will's cocktails on an empty stomach"
Sounds good, here's the some options: Horse & Jockey (Winner of Great Britain's Steak & Kidney Pie competition) Aftab - fantastic curry house Golden Ball - great food but pricey The Station - cheese and onion cob and a bag of crisps but open fire The Boat - a very short cab ride but a real old fashioned pub
Plus a loads restaurants and other pubs, any vote? If no consensus I'll post the early meet location here on friday.
I'll bring my sound stuff and for a the early meet makes sense we do a podcast over a few beers!
See you there,
Cheers,
Will

I'll go with the flow - oh, the majority have spoken Horse & Jockey's famous pie it is then Although...... I may end up finishing the night off in the Indian. Look, I don't get out much right About what time.... well in the daylight hours, I'll be wandering around with my camera doing the Japanese tourist thingy. But it gets dark early, so will need to get indoors soon after sunset...with a favourite tipple to warm mi toes MikeB

I'm still hoping to make it along, but probably won't be able to get there before the evening.
If anyone wants to PM me their mobile number I'll give you a buzz in the unlikely event that I arrive earlier than I'm anticipating.

we had a right old larf ;D I still feel a little bit worse for wear, but it was worth it. Met a cracking bunch of British Mac fans Apologies to Will if we were all a little bit star struck, and if I'm honest, some of the places people were asking for autographs to be scribbled was a bit much For all those not able to make it on the night - I'm sure the next British Mac meet-up will be upon us before we know it.... can't wait I've a couple of fun pics to post, as long as no-one has any objections. I'll leave it a couple of days to see if anyone pm's me with a request not to have their image uploaded for public access. Honestly, none of the pics are too embarrassing or revealing.

Met a cracking bunch of British Mac fans I had to chuckle as I miss-read that last line as "crackers bunch of British Mac fans". Mind you it probably was not far from the truth. Sorry I missed it but a prior engagement meant that it was impossible.
